1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the www.dtrace.co website, the Digital Product Passport (DPP) platform and related services offered under the D Trace brand (the "Services").
For individuals in Türkiye, personal data is processed under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"). See our KVKK Notice for details.
2. Information We Collect
- Contact form: name, email, company, phone (optional), subject and message.
- DPP Readiness Test: company name, contact name and title, phone, email and your answers.
- Platform accounts: name, email, company and permission data for business users.
- Usage data (only if you accept analytics cookies): pages visited, referrer, device type, screen size, time zone, browser information and anonymous session identifiers.
- Preferences: your language, theme and cookie choices are stored in your browser.
3. How We Use Information
- To respond to your requests, demo enquiries and questions.
- To prepare and share your DPP readiness assessment.
- To create, manage and secure platform accounts.
- To measure website performance and improve the experience (with your consent).
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers needed to deliver the Services: hosting (Vercel), database and file storage (Google Firebase / Google Cloud) and Google Maps for the map on our contact page (loaded only with your consent).
These providers may process data outside Türkiye. Such transfers rely on the safeguards set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.
We may disclose information to competent authorities where legally required.
5. Retention
We keep contact and test data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and no longer than 3 years. Account data is kept while the account is active and for statutory periods. Analytics data is kept for up to 26 months. Data is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and our providers’ security safeguards, to protect your data.
7. Your Rights
You may ask whether your data is processed, request access, correction or deletion, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. You can change your cookie choices via "Cookie Settings" in the footer.
